Our Services

Four Pillars Consulting offers flexible services in organisational and policy development:

Public policy research
We conduct rigorous research to assess the scope of policy problems, and identify solutions resulting in sustained outcomes. We develop discussion papers that our government and not for profit sector clients use to influence debate or generate new programs.

Strategy development
We work with our clients to develop strategic policy interventions that support community wellbeing. We devise strategic approaches and operational plans based on research evidence, community consultation, and internal agency communication.

Professional education and training
We design and deliver training programs for the professional development of staff in not-for-profit and government agencies, covering areas such as:
  • leadership skills
  • not for profit business development
  • equity and diversity in the workplace
  • policy research skills

Program evaluation
We evaluate programs and services that aim to contribute to community sustainability. We assess the value, efficiency and effectiveness of programs by drawing upon a range of evaluation methodologies. We help clients identify:
  • the unique contribution of specific programs
  • areas where resources need to be invested or redistributed
  • examples of good practice that programs can build upon or harness for the benefit of the community

Facilitation and consultation
We help clients work through difficult issues to do with programs and policy development. Our consultation processes include a variety of face to face and online methods and are designed to elicit diverse feedback, always with regard for the particular communities and issues being explored.
